Eagle Project Workbook
New in the Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook:

  • A change in the requirement that a project plan be approved with detailed work plans, drawings, a count of “nuts and bolts”, etc. to a focus on a project proposal. The detailed planning will be left to the Scout. Eagle Scout requirement 5 has been revised. This requirement formerly read, “The project plan must be approved….” The requirement now reads “A project proposal must be approved…,” and the project workbook form has been significantly changed.
  • Clarification of issues often encountered when working with units and Scouts, such as:
    • There are no required minimum hours or people for a project
    • No more than one Eagle Scout candidate may receive credit for working on the same project
    • No Council, district or unit can require additional forms or plans or add or change anything in the workbook
